The following five core values proceed from our vision and reflect our identity and our passion. They all stand equally important and guide all our ministry activities.

Worshipping God with passion

We are committed to worshiping God in Truth and in Spirit (John 4:23-24). We desire our worship to be God-centered, passionate and authentic, in accordance with the word of God.

Equipping the Saints with the truth of God’s word

We are fully committed to the accurate teaching of sound doctrine and the truth of God’s word in its entirety. We believe the word of God is the only means through which God:

– saves us (2 Timothy 3:14-15, 1 Peter 1:23, Rom. 1:16-17) and
– leads us to spiritual maturity (2 Timothy 3:16-17, 1 Peter 2:2-3, Acts 20:32)

Living and serving as Disciples of Christ

We are committed to biblical discipleship according to Christ’s command to His Church (Matthew 28:18-20), in which each believer is to play a role.

From the moment God saves the believer by the regeneration produced by the Holy Spirit (Titus 3:5), they are immediately called to a life of discipleship: to daily learn from Jesus to live like Him.

We desire to build strong families through the teaching of biblical family values and with the help of the Holy Spirit. In a world that seeks to redefine the family, our desire is to see our families redeemed, restored and God-honoring (Ephesians 5:22-33, 6:1-4). We also aim to be a caring and loving church family that is open to all and reflects the love of Christ (Romans 12:9-13) so as to impact our communities, Canada and the world, for God (John 13:34-35, 1 Peter 2:12).

We believe we are called to serve God by serving others with our talents, our time and our resources. In a hurting and lost world, we desire to show the love of God (John 3:16), not only in words but also in deeds, through compassionate service (Galatians 5:13-14, Mathew 20:28, Luke 22:27).

Leaning on God in prayer

We are dedicated to a life of prayer. We are convinced that through prayer, we commune with God, we are transformed by Him through His Spirit and we are empowered to become agents of transformation by the same Spirit (Luke 11:1-4, Matthew 21:13).

Sharing the Gospel of Grace

We believe God commands us to proclaim His Word (2 Timothy 4: 2), the good news of salvation in Christ to all men (Romans 10:14-15, Mathew 28:18-19, Mark 16:15)
