Our story
Vision
Founded in 2007, Wells Salvation Church is a bilingual and multicultural church based in Gatineau (Quebec). Apostle Simeon Mukwiza received the vision for the ministry during a time of prayer in Rwanda (Africa), in 2004, indicating that the gospel would become a source of salvation for many, first in Canada and in all nations, according to Isaiah 12:3.
The church is devoted to the teaching of the Bible as the inspired word of God. Our mission is to preach the gospel to all nations and to teach believers how to become disciples of Jesus Christ in all aspects of their lives. We believe in a complete and integral salvation, which includes the regeneration of the spirit, the restoration of the soul et the deliverance of the body.
Our prayer is that all would discover the living hope found in Jesus Christ.
Growth in Canada
Once in Canada, Apostle Mukwiza started organizing prayer meeting in his home basement. 12 people attended the first meeting. A few months later, the basement had become too small to contain the increasing number of attendees and the church moved into a community centre.
The church did not cease to grow since then, reaching hundreds of members throughout the years and moved to several rented venues. In February 2025, after years of prayer and fundraising, the church was able to buy a building in Gatineau, Quebec, by the mighty hand of God.

Throughout the years, we have seen people from all age and background come to Christ through the preaching of the gospel. The church now has more than 120 members and the Lord keeps adding those who are saved (Acte 2:47). The pastoral team went from one Pastor to six Pastors.
Activities
Our activities include Bible Studies, Sunday school for children, leaders trainings, support for life events (grief, sickness etc) as well as pastoral counselling. We also hold a monthly Youth & Young adult meetings.
We help newcomers adjust to their new life in Canada by offering information about settlement services as well as help for everyday tasks.

We desire to see a spiritual revival in Canada. In addition to our weekly services, we hope to reach as many people as possible in Canada's national capital and beyond through our annual conference called “Canada Shine”. The goal of the conference is to preach the gospel but also strengthen the body of Christ through various teachings. We also plan to add more services to accommodate the growing number of members.
