ABOUT US
Vision
Founded in 2007, Wells Salvation Church is a bilingual, multicultural church in Gatineau. The vision was given to Apostle Simeon Mukwiza during prayer in Rwanda in 2004, revealing that the gospel would bring salvation to many in Canada and beyond (Isaiah 12:3).

We are committed to teaching the Bible as God’s inspired Word, preaching the gospel to all nations, and equipping believers to become disciples of Jesus Christ. We believe in a complete salvation that renews the spirit, restores the soul, and brings healing to the body.

Our prayer is that everyone would discover the living hope found in Jesus Christ.
Growth in Canada
After arriving in Canada, Apostle Mukwiza began hosting prayer meetings in his basement, where 12 people attended the first gathering. As the group quickly grew, the church moved into a community centre and later to several rented venues.
Over the years, the church has continued to expand, welcoming people of all ages and backgrounds. By God’s grace, in February 2025, after much prayer and fundraising, the church purchased its own building in Gatineau.
Today, Wells Salvation Church has more than 120 members, and the pastoral team has grown from one pastor to six, as the Lord continues to add to His church (Acts 2:47).

Activities
We offer Bible studies, Sunday school, leadership training, pastoral counselling, and youth gatherings. We also support newcomers adjusting to life in Canada.

Through our weekly services and our annual Canada Shine conference, we aim to share the gospel and strengthen the body of Christ as our church continues to grow.

We trust that He who began a good work in us will carry it to completion (Philippians 1:6).
